Q: Ben, where are you from?

Ben: I was born and raised here in Charleston. Moved around a little but happy to be back here on the coast.

Q: Have we seen you on stage?

Ben: Hope so! Music has always been a big passion of mine. I’ve been in and out of bands since my teens, currently singing in a new local Alternative rock project called Grim. I’ve always been into story telling whether it be the songs I write or videos I make (which is also a huge creative outlet for me).

Q: Why KBRS?

Ben: I started in the building industry installing commercial and residential fencing, taking me from Charleston to Florida and all the way out to California. I've worked for a number of companies over the last 20 years and I admit KBRS is different - in a great way. Throughout the company (including the owner), everyone takes extreme pride in the product that’s being produced. Quality people making a quality product, and it really shows. As big as the company is and continues to grow, it feels like a big family; which is how it’s supposed to be!

Most people want to know what’s so different about KBRS versus the product they might be currently using. My answer typically is that we’re not only a manufacture but we're a solutions company, and we really are. We can manufacture any size, shape, or drain location to match your project’s needs. Something nobody is really doing in the industry.

Q: Dining recommendations???

Ben: So many great choices, but if I have to narrow it down, my two favorite local restaurants have to be Home Team BBQ & Poe's Tavern out on Sullivans Island. The smoked wings and the "Game Changer" at Home Team is all you need to know. And Poe's always has great rotating taps and burgers to die for. If you see me there, stop by and say hi!
